Silverlake is a luxury private estate nestled in an extensive nature reserve, near to the coast in West Dorset. Opportunity for adventure abounds water sports, a private beach, cycling trails, woodland walks, tennis, table tennis and forest playgrounds available on site.
Theis property is designed for first floor living, set over three floors, and sleeps ten (maximum 8 adults and 3 children). Wakeling Island 11 is a beautiful retreat, perfect for reflective quiet time, celebrations, or family get-togethers. Upon entering at ground floor level, you will be greeted with a spacious (and extremely useful) utility and boot room. This area leads onto three very well-appointed bedrooms; a bunk room (with a double below and single above) for little ones and a double bedroom, with shared shower room. The spacious master bedroom has an ensuite wet room and enjoys floor-to-ceiling sliding window doors on to the rear deck.
A spacious open plan living/dining area can be found on the first floor, with sumptuous seating for both dining and relaxing. Entertaining is made easy with a fully equipped, spacious, contemporary kitchen and dining area comfortably seating ten guests. The adjacent breakaway games/TV room will keep the kids entertained or provide the retreat for a cosy film night! Every detail has been considered, including a cosy wood burning stove, creating a calming atmosphere to soak in the tranquil views from the balcony across Silverlake Heath at any time of year.
On the second floor, tastefully decorated double and twin bedrooms share a contemporary wet room. A large, mezzanine snug looks down over the open plan dining and kitchen area and enjoys spectacular views of Silverlake Heath - providing a perfect space to enjoy a moment of calm.
Whilst this property is fully completed, there are properties on the estate undergoing construction in various phases. Bookings for this property are made on the understanding that you may see and hear construction, machinery and workers from 0730 to 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300 on Saturdays.
