About this house rental

This cosy countryhouse divided into two apartments (but rented as villa) is a perfect place for people looking to immerse themselves in the tranquility of unspoilt Tuscan countryside, far away from the noise of traffic and the pollution of the towns. The property is situated at only a few minutes from the beautiful town of Cortona in a small and stone-built country village in a truly wonderful panoramic position. Perched on a hilltop at a height of 480m it commands stunning views of Tuscany landscape. Surrounded by a spacious garden, olive groves and chestnuts forest the countryhouse is superbly positioned. From this strategic position it is possible to explore many places of Tuscany and Umbria like Arezzo, Siena, Firenze, Perugia, Montepulciano, Trasimeno Lake, Gubbio and Assisi. The house is a classically solid stone construction with thick walls that make for a cool interior in summer and a warm cosy feel at other times of the year. It is beamed and simply furnished in a solid dark wood fashion, as are the characteristically stout doors and windows shutters. To one side of the property is a swimming pool which also provides an excellent panorama. Be careful! The last 800 metres of the road are not asphalted and there are little draining grooves. Extra costs are payable at location: Refundable damage deposit 200,00 euro. tax 2,5 euro per day per person up to 4 days
