Everything! Andrea was an amazing host. Andrea went above and beyond, picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, made local recommendations for restaurants and much much more. The views are expansive with a lovely infinity pool. Traditional Italian breakfasts that we looked forward to every morning. The room was very well decorated and extremely clean. We would definitely stay at Podere Fontanino again. Our experience could not have been better! 💯 Out of 10

We stayed at Podere Fontanino this July and had a truly relaxing and memorable experience. The property is beautifully located just outside Arezzo, with only four rooms, which makes it feel intimate and peaceful. After hot days exploring the area, coming back to cool off in the lovely pool (with a view) was perfect.
Our room was beautifully appointed, with great air conditioning (very welcome in summer), a comfortable bed, a great shower, and a mini bar stocked for convenience. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with homemade pies, local specialties, made-to-order eggs, fresh juice and cappuccinos.
What made the stay special was the warmth of Andrea, the owner, and his daughter. Andrea has the kind of energy that makes you feel like you're visiting an old friend. He was always happy to share great recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, and nearby landmarks, and we had some lovely, relaxed conversations with him throughout our stay.
If you're looking for a no-frills, no-BS kind of place to unwind and enjoy the Tuscan countryside, this is it. We would absolutely go back and recommend it without hesitation.
