About this lodge
New for 2021 we have our converted shipping container lodge. Perfect for this years holiday as it is completely self contained in the middle of fields. This is a 4 person lodge, (suitable for 2 adults and small 2 children as the sofa bed is small double bed) benefiting from its own open plan kitchen/dining area, bathroom and double bedroom. Also own hot tub.
Please note the garden of the lodge backs straight onto horses fields which there may be horses in during your stay.
The Lodge is set away from other guests in its own private location looking out only onto fields and countryside, benefiting from a lovely decking area and garden furniture to enjoy those romantic sunset evenings. With the lodge you also benefit from your own hot tub and 1 hours private use per day of the swimming pool Which is located 300 m away from the lodge.

Beautiful converted shipping container with a small hot tub, overlooking fields with horses. Also 1 hour's access to the on-site swimming pool, which was a lovely touch. There is another lodge not far away, and people can access the horse field, but it still felt private enough.
It is worth mentioning that there is a hairdryer, a fan, shampoo and conditioner, towels and kitchen utensils, and washing up liquid, all provided. This is not stated on the advert so we had packed these, but it is great they have thought of everything, and may save you packing them!
My children, 10 and 8, managed OK on the small sofa bed. We just put up a towel at the window as a lot of light can get in (the blind at the kitchen area did not function). Just worth noting but it wasn't a bother as we had taken our own towels for the hot tub.
20 minute drive to Market Rasen racecourse, and only half an hour to Cleethorpes. We were able to really make the most of our trip and the extra touches made it feel more of a holiday.
