Summary:
Little Barn is the perfect 'escape from it all' countryside annexe, nestled in the picturesque seaside village of West Wittering. This beautiful annexe has everything you need for a fuss-free coastal break, with a fully-equipped kitchen, comfy king-size bed, and a huge sofa for unwinding at the end of your day.
Tucked along a quiet country lane, enjoy peaceful countryside surroundings and wake to the sound of just birdsong. Stroll to West Wittering's blue flag beach in just 15 minutes!
The Space:
As soon as you enter Little Barn at Fieldfare, you'll feel instantly at home. Cosy but spacious, the open-plan living and dining area has vaulted ceilings, wooden beams and velux windows allowing plenty of natural light to flood in.
Sink into the huge sofa with a glass of wine and a good book at the end of your day, or enjoy a movie on Amazon or Netflix on the wall-mounted TV.
Its fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking (or to prepare your beach picnic!) including a dishwasher, oven, fridge and microwave.
The spacious nautical-themed bedroom has a king-size bed and wardrobe, giving you ample space to unpack and make yourself at home.
The bright and fully-tiled bathroom has a good size bath with shower to freshen up after a day at the beach.
Little Barn has private off-road parking behind a gated entrance, just in front of the annex. There is an electric car charging point.
Please note, although there is no private outdoor space, there is an outside bench by the annex to enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink.
The Neighborhood:
West Wittering village is a quiet, residential seaside village. Although its popular beach attracts many visitors, parking is well managed and the village itself remains peaceful.
The Wittering pub is a short walk from the annex and serves delicious food and drink. With private, heated beach huts in the beer garden, you can enjoy alfresco dining even on chillier nights.
The Landing serves good coffee, yummy pastries and ice cream, and is found just by the beach entrance.
There is also a very well-stocked corner shop and off-licence in the village, just five minutes walk from the annex.
Getting Around:
Easy bus routes into East Wittering, Bracklesham Bay and the city of Chichester. The bus stop is at the end of the road.

Interaction with Guests:
Little Barn is attached to the owner's main house, but has its own separate entrance. The owners live on-site with their children, friendly dog and two cats, but don't share your space.

Clean, cozy, close to the beach and quiet

Very clean throughout with all necessary requirements for a stay.However, a few issues could be clarified better online and in the supplied book in the Little Barn. Not mentioned were the following:1. Radiators had to be turned on if required.2. The boiler control/radiator temp was not obvious as there appeared to be a decommissioned panel on the wall whereas it was a bluetooth or wifi actuated one on a tabletop. More information is required on radiator heat timing and control.3. The tv box had to be switched on before turning on the tv. This was not mentioned. Also not obvious is whether the tv is ariel or cable.4. The lighting for the dining table is inadequate for its current position.5. Opening of gate could be more specific. On both outside and inside the property there are 4 buttons so which one to press?The location was perfect however, close to a gastro pub and lovely walks.As the road is unlit would it be possible to put a light or lights by the gate, perhaps distict ones? This would help to find the place in the dark!

Perfect location for us, within walking distance to West Wittering Beach and local Pub. There was everything you needed in the property and very clean and tidy.Property was is in a lovely quiet area and very easy to get into Chichester and Goodwood.Would definitely stay again

Information about access and Wifi etc more reliable online than in the house book. There was no information on how to make the TV work or central heating. The layout of Little Barn was perfect for me and cosy. Car was secure as there are electronic gates. It was a drive (not a walk) to the beach and once there parking was £7.50.
