There were a few reasons I downgraded my rating on this property. I didn’t receive any check in instructions until after I called. I haven’t ever had this issue with a VRBO. When I did call the gentleman I talked to said he didn’t have a reservation for me listed which was also stressful because I had people waiting at the house while I was trying to get the check in instructions. Once we did manage to get inside we found damage to the inside of the home so we took photos and reported it not only to Evolve but the secondary person in the contact list as well. I never heard a word from any of them that they received the message etc. I haven’t ever had poor communication while staying at a VRBO so this is a first for me. I guess we will see if they attempt to charge us for any damage that was not incurred by us but we did feel the need to document it upon our arrival with photos that were time/date stamped. A shattered glass cooktop on the stove, damage to the flooring, a hole in the wall and dents on the front of the refrigerator were pretty big deals to us as far as damage goes. Other than that the place itself was nice and sufficient for our stay and we enjoyed it. I just wish we would have had some sort of acknowledgement that they received our message with our concerns regarding the damage. Had we had that I would not have left it on the review but wanted to make others aware of the poor communication.

Great location to Fort Casey. Plenty of room for the family. Parking and yard were a bit small but we made it work and there was street parking alsoPlenty of opportunity to enjoy the wildlife around the neighborhoodHouse floors were were a bit squeaky
