About this cabin rental
The cabin is located on our 4 acre plot about 200m from our house with a view of Chanctonbury and a large pond. We are a family with 2 teenagers and 2 friendly dogs and are there to help if needed but far enough away to give you privacy. Steyning high street with its lovely shops, pubs, super markets and tearooms are only 1 mile away. Please note that the dance studio mentioned in the reviews doesn’t exist anymore.

This place was perfect for our getaway. The area was beautiful and the deck was a fantastic place to relax after a long day. Highly recommend.

Immaculately presented and set in a lovely location. Great place to chill out before and after a local wedding we attended . Very well equipped and the sofa bed was a decent size and very comfortable. Communication with Carolin was excellent. Thank you we enjoyed our stay and we will be back as a great base to explore the local area.

Lovely cabin, in a great location, all equipment we needed was there. Loads of hot water and very responsive heating.

We stayed for 5 nights in August and found it a lovely place to have a "get away from it all" stay. The dance studio at the barn was no bother at all - in fact we would play 'guess that tune' to any music we heard. Our stay coincided with the 'One Love' festival down the road which again was no bother with further games if 'Name that tune- reggae style'. The outlook over the lake was lovely and we had regular sightings of the ducks and their ducklings during the day as they waddled their routine rounds. We even saw a deer saunter through the grounds on our first evening there. There are many lovely walks nearby, some of which we explored. After dark we were able to observe the Orionid Meteor shower in the comfort of the decking furniture- fabulous! We had great communication with the owners in spite of them being on holiday themselves.
We'd definitely stay again!
