Philippe met us at the property to show us around and he was an excellent & attentive host. The house is in a perfect location on a beautiful, quiet street minutes walk from the heart of the town. The house is delightful and well equipped, full of character & with a lovely courtyard garden. I would have no hesitation to recommend this house for your stay in Uzes.

We spent a great week in Philippe’s ancient stone house located on a street many consider the most picturesque in town. This quiet central location is steps away from everything in beautiful Uzès. The owner was very accommodating, flexible and welcoming. All in all a memorable holiday and we would return.

"Les points forts de la Maison du Sonneur sont: Le calme, l''authenticité, sa situation privilégiée dans le centre d''Uzès et à deux pas de belles ballades en campagne sans prendre la voiture. La coure extérieure ensoleillée et préservant l''intimité est un vrai plus. Vraiment une maison sympa où passer de bons moments. La gentillesse de Philippe achèvera de vous mettre complètement à l''aise. A recommander vivement si on n''a pas peur de la concurrence sur les bons plans!
For those speaking English: La Maison du Sonneur is a real good plan for discovering Uzès and its surroundings. Right in the old town, you will find a charming house that offers calm and authenticity. The little courtyard benefits from the sun and preserves your intinity. Amazingly, it''s just 50 m away or so from beautiful walks in the country side in the Eure valley where you can discover the starting point of the canal that was built 2000 years ago and was used to supply Nimes with water, passing through the famous Pont du Gard. Then, the kindness of Philippe will make you feel completely comfortable. Anyway, it''s a place to recommend only to your best friends!"
