The Anastasia is in a lovely location out by the clocktower and just back from the waterfront. There are restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk along the lovely port.
The ferry for Kos arrives literally at the bottom of the steps from the hotel. Couldn't be better for anyone heading off in that direction.
The staff were very friendly without being overbearing which is how we like it.
Our room had a great view out to sea.
Although we have a few years behind us, we still consider ourselves pretty fit but the 40 or so steps up to the hotel are not going to be for everyone. On top of that we had two flights of internal steps up to our room. Beware of this before booking. It isn't an easy climb.

Easy to find, great location. Lovely staff, clean room.
Be aware of the steps if you have mobility issues, hotel does tell you this before but is manageable, request low floor room for fewer steps.

Fabulous view over the bay.
Bed wasn’t comfy. Basic furnishings. Not suitable for those with mobility issues.
