The location was amazing and Despina, the host, was exceptionally kind. I’d arranged to meet with a distant relative of mine who lives in the area, but was having trouble contacting her. When I brought it up to Despina, not only did she know the woman, she helped translate for me over the phone, then gave me a ride to her house where the three of us chatted and had coffee together. This was just one of the many acts of kindness and filoksenia I experienced during my stay
