I really enjoyed my stay at this property — the location, safety, and facilities were excellent, especially for families. It offered a peaceful, secure environment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I’d definitely recommend it to others, particularly if you have your own transportation, as it’s a bit out of the way from shops and restaurants.
I was disappointed that we weren’t informed about the presence of indoor cameras before our stay — this was only explained a few days into our visit. While we were told they only record when the property is locked and the locking system is engaged, it still would have been helpful to know in advance. Additionally, we were made to feel uncomfortable after being called out for leaving the bed unmade and some cabinets open during our final check of the property. In our previous stays elsewhere, it’s actually been standard to leave used beds unmade for housekeeping, so this felt a bit unfair.

We took the house for 5 weeks, traveling with three kids under 3 and our nanny. We really enjoyed our stay. Marbella Dream Rentals was fantastic to deal with - super professional & very helpful. The house is well set up as a rental - it was very clean & well organized (particularly the kitchen.. it had everything you need, all spotless). The house has new air conditioning units, which worked great. The master bedroom is huge (as per the picture - it has a seating area). Isla de Guadalmina is a quiet & secure complex, so perfect for a family.
The furniture is a little dated - sofas and beds not overly comfy. There was a big renovation job going on in the house next door, which was noisy at times.. but I understand that pursuant to the community rules in the Isla complex, no works are permitted during peak season (I.e. summer months).
