The location is hard to beat - it’s a 5 minute walk from Saint Mark’s Square, and at a competitive price for Venice, which is pretty amazing. Might have just been my room but everyone was very talkative and sociable too.
It was only mid May but the rooms are very hot at night, and with the way some dorms are set up, the fan only reaches the beds directly opposite and doesn’t touch or circulate to the rest of the room. I think my roommate said the front desk said they don’t turn the air con until June, but the rooms were sweltering and I woke up sweating — I think it would be good to make an exception. I also didn’t love that you have to leave your key at the front desk every time you leave.

The location is super! 5 minutes walk to the main square. We had our own private room, so I can’t complain. Beds were comfortable, shower was good. No issues
Some of the stuff were very unfriendly and I didn’t like leaving a key in the reception every time especially because of that.

Central location for a cheap price, lockers were big
Air was stuffy inside, the 10-bed dorm was next to the 8-bed dorm without only a doorframe, essentially being a larger room
