Amazing view from the large and spacious room. Location was on the beach and close to the city shops and pubs (walking distance).
No kitchen or self-catering facilities but they do offer a 25% discount on the food from their restaurant. The private toilet was lovely to have but the open window in it allowed for cooking smells to enter from the restaurant. The heating was spotty as it had some quirks that had to be worked out by the staff.

The property is in a great central location and my room had an excellent sea view.
This is a hostel with a few private bedrooms, not a hotel. Do not expect a hotel experience. The bathroom was tiny and stank, there weren't enough towels, the kettle didn't fit in the sink so was unuseable. Glasses weren't provided and I was told we couldn't take any from the bar. Breakfast was shockingly bad so don't pay for that in advance. If there is a lift so you can avoid the tiny steep staircases with your bag, I didn't find it. The room key is an app on your phone so check in takes forever while you download the app on dodgy WiFi.
