Friendly staff, had an issue which was fixed promptly, they manage multiple apartments next to each other so have a person who can fix things quickly.
Amazing sea view from the breakfast place, safe for childrento run around, breakfast costs £8 for child or £12 for an adult or you can simply buy a latte and enjoy the view

It had all appliances in kitchen, nice communal garden
The apartment wasn't really young child friendly, quite small living room, glass furniture and no bath. Also door opened out into a car park and had any infestation we had to leave 3days early.

Great location, close to High street and Old village. Amazing views from the garden. Only a few minutes walk to the cliff lift
Apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed.
On arrival we found the bin in the kitchen hadn’t been emptied, it was overflowing with rubbish which resulted in us having ants crawling all over the floor and worktop. However once we had emptied the bin we had no more problems with ants.
The shower temperature is very difficult to regulate. The water is scalding hot and it’s hard to turn it down!!
We would have liked to sit in the garden and enjoy the view with a drink but the afternoon we went out there we couldn’t find a member of staff to serve us.We were in the garden area for a good 20mins and saw no one.
My daughter went to the breakfast room one morning to have a coffee in the garden but was told this wasn’t possible as she would need to order a full breakfast for £12.99
We also had a few problems with the front door, the lock is not very secure. On the day we left the door wouldn’t lock at all
On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would happily return again

The postcode takes you to an hotel. At no point does the booking say the apartment is at an hotel. There are NO signs anywhere mentioning Beach Shack Apartments. We only found the property after calling the premises. The manager wasn’t particularly sorry we’d taken 45 minutes to find the place. Apparently we should have called! she was adamant there was a hairdryer but she had it. There should have been bottles of water but that wasn’t there either. The photos are very misleading - looks like the garden and BBQ belongs to the apartment overlooking the sea. But no. The view and garden is part of the hotel, although you can use them. The apartment was clean, more or less, but had a terrible smell of gherkins or pickles and the fridge smelt bad too; a nasty musty smell in the bathroom. The loo needed careful handling to make it flush. One towel per person; a small bath towel, no hand towels. overall extremely disappointing.
