Very homely and comfortable furnishings and decor. A flat with personality, generous space, great natural light and an attractive outlook over the Common to the sea. I was looking for an individual, characterful place for my Portsmouth stay and Louise and Liam delivered in style. The Victorian period features of the building have been preserved and there's a relaxed, welcoming air to the place that makes you feel that you're visiting friends rather than a typical soulless holiday home. Clear and helpful information was provided by the owners and the flat is well prepared and cared for. Easy, plentiful parking in the bays across the road which you pay for via the Ringgo app. I really enjoyed being able to walk across the Common to the seafront promenade and there's a Waitrose just a ten minute walk away for supplies.
Nothing. A really relaxing and enjoyable stay but be prepared for the multiple flights of stairs to the top floor. The owners give clear advice not to bring heavy bags which is honest and helpful.

Large apartment in a great area. Comfortable bed and nice furnishings, especially in the living room. Owners were lovely and responded immediately to any query. It ticked all the requirements of my one night stay.
Some appliances would benefit from some TLC or replacing, notably the kettle which was so full of limescale it didn't pour well at all. Cutlery needed a wash before use. The plug in the shower didn't drain well, upon inspection it was completely full of hair.

Perfect location near the seafront with beautiful views over the common. Extremely comfortable beds and quality bed linen.
I would have appreciated some written instructions for some of the appliances.

The location was brilliant. We were able to walk the seafront, the common and to Old Portsmouth.
The apartment has been tastefully restored by Louise to keep its Edwardian features and was very comfortable.
The view from the windows across the common was amazing.
The 65 steps up to the apartment ! But it was absolutely worth the climb.
