Check-in/out was easy. The hotel staff was very lovely and helpful. There is also a storage area for luggages which was a plus. The location is really good as well, it was in a safe neighborhood. You can get to Piazza Maggiore in 10 mins by walk and also close to the Bologna Centrale station as well. Across the street there is a market. Cleaning was good too. Overall it was a nice stay.
The only bad thing about this stay was the internet connection. During my stay there was a problem with the infrastructure as I was told. As someone who works remotely I had to use my own internet during my stay which was challenging. Only time I had connection was when I was passing through in the reception. Considering the all conditions it was a bit overpriced imo.

The good:
- staff were very friendly, kind and professional
- the room, bathroom, bed linen and towels were impeccably clean
The bad:
- I had a room on the 5th floor, facing the street. There is no noise insulation whatsoever, internal or external. Someone walked in the corridor past my door and sighed and I could hear it. I could hear someone snoring in the night. I could hear every single street noise - cars, rubbish pick up at 3am, every conversation and argument. I barely got any sleep at all. Unfortunately I’d fully paid in advance.
- For the price I was quite surprised at how basic the hotel is. The common areas (reception, lift) are quite tatty. The room facilities are minimal - I know they don’t say otherwise and I should have read the description more carefully, but it is unusual at this price point to not have a tv and safe box in the room. Yes the location is decent but I don’t think it makes up for everything else.
