Great location - great views of Orkney from our room. Thurso beach - a lovely sandy beach just 100m away (literally, across the road and down a slope). Also, property is only a 5 minute walk from the bus stop and a 15 minute walk from the railway station.
Property itself was great - a beautiful, well maintained period house - very clean and really comfortable.
Fantastic cooked breakfast with the best bacon we’ve ever tasted!
Our hosts were so friendly, really kind and helpful.
Would happily stay there again.😁
Busy road, so some traffic noise. Mostly quiet at night though.
