Room dusty and poor quality decor. Last visitors flannel left in bathroom. Poor shower pressure. Hotel generally has an unloved and dated feel. Staff not attentive or welcoming. Breakfast low quality and no assistance from staff who just stay in background chatting to eachother. Lots of areas are really grubby.

An old fashioned type of hotel which is undergoing major upgrades. Breakfast very good, room comfortable and warm. Staff are excellent. All one needs for a happy stay. My hope for a future visit is a walk in shower.

The staff was nice, and helpful! They lent me a fan. The lobby music was fun, music from the 50's. Unfortunately the hotel is creepy, it's endless narrow corridors, countless fire doors, many stairs, no lift, windows that narrowly open. A tiny tv. In the morning they welcome you to runny eggs, rare bacon & sausage, nonfunctional toasters, canned fruit cocktail, weak coffee, I had to hunt for milk, the salt & pepper were empty, and no artificial sweetener.
