Beautiful, full of character. Footpaths just across the road to walk dog & handy for the pub!

Owner kindly let us postpone our night away due to illness for which we were very grateful.
Kitchen well supplied and offer of breakfast items very generous.
Very responsive heating. Close to good pub. Dog friendly.
Beds very uncomfortable. Double bed very firm and bunkbeds very very soft with springs that could be easily felt. Mattresses need to be replaced particularly on the bunkbeds. Guests should be aware that the toilet is downstairs from the bedrooms. We were unaware of this and would not have booked had we known. As others have commented parking is a challenge and unloading the car is on a busy main road. Traffic can easily be heard in the property which has no double glazing so was cold on arrival but did heat up quickly. A guide to the area would have been useful.
