Great location for the old part of Neuchatel.
Car park access was very tight. Room was sparsely decorated and just functional.

The check in staff is not very welcoming. She didn't print us the code for the tourist cards that can get us into many museums for free. However, the checkout staff is amazing, helping us with transport app etc.

Given the exorbitant cost of hotels in the city, this one is an absolute bargain. It's close to the train station, and has a reasonably priced restaurant in the lobby. The breakfast is basic, but decent.
The room I got was quite cramped, and in need of some maintenance (the skirting was peeling off the wall around the door frame). I also don't think the cleaning is done diligently; I had a terrible sinus flare-up while staying there, and I had literal cobwebs with a spider in the one corner... it was like something out of a cartoon. The mattress had outlived its useful life by some years, and while there was a cupboard with a rail, there were no coat hangers. A request for a late check-out was greeted by a blunt remark that it'll be an extra CHF 20 per hour.
