Palazzo Roselli Cecconi Apartments

Beautiful rooms in an old palace.

We stayed in the 3 BR apartment for 4 nights. The pictures are very accurate and having 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths was great. Our hostess, Ksenia, was fantastic with communication and recommendations. Everything she suggested was a hit. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. We only used the kitchen to make coffee, but the coffee provided was great. We really appreciated the washing machine, which was a main reason for choosing this location. The washer (no dryer) was small, but worked great and the drying rack held plenty and dried everything easily overnight. All the rooms were climate controlled. The kids enjoyed the bedrooms up the "secret stairs" to the servant area. The neighborhood, while on the far side of the city about a 20-25 min walk from the train station, was delightfully quiet at night and a great spot for home base. We were never far from the sites and still felt like we got some of the local experience.

There was nothing about this apartment that we didn't like and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Travelers can be aware that when folks are coming and going from the courtyard, it can be a little loud with the security gate and voices carrying up. We had one morning with scaffolding getting installed for some maintenance work, which was quiet loud, but we were up and out so it wasn't a big deal for us and it was gone the next day. It's a hundreds year old building, so it has a lot echoes in the downstairs rooms with tall ceilings and there is a smell of stucco when you enter. Again, nothing that we didn't adjust to almost immediately; we would absolutely recommend this property to others.

Very large and spacious apartment in a great location. The host was very helpful and made certain we had all the information necessary for an amazing three night stay.
