Surrounded by 700 m2 of land, there is plenty of space for 3 cars on the gravelled area, while children can play in the paved courtyard. Situated in the Sainte Beaume valley, Auriol is the starting point for many walks in this massif. Just 20 km from Cassis and Marseille's Calanques, you can also enjoy the beaches and landscapes of the Mediterranean. In the evenings, you'll enjoy the peace and quiet of the house and, at sunset, the view of Sainte Beaume and the soft light so typical of Provence through the umbrella pines that line the house, after a refreshing dip in the pool.

The upper level comprises :

- a 12 m2 kitchen equipped with a gas hob, fridge, electric oven and microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all kitchen utensils for eating and preparing meals.
- a 25 m2 living room with sitting area (armchair and sofa), television and dining area seating 8 people
- a bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and hairdryer,
- WC separate from the bathroom,
- an 11 m2 amber room with a 190x140 cm bed and wardrobe,
- a 12 m2 bedroom with 2 x 2 single bunk beds for 4 children or 2 adults and a large wardrobe with sliding doors.
The lower level comprises :

- a large bedroom with a large bay window overlooking the courtyard and garden, equipped with a 190x140 cm bed and a wardrobe for storing linen. This bedroom leads from the upper to the lower level to the last bedroom, bathroom and toilet.
- a 9 m2 bedroom with a 190x140 cm bed and a wardrobe
- bathroom with walk-in shower and washbasin,
- insulated toilet.
On the upper level, the living room opens onto a large terrace with swimming pool. The pool is 7 m by 3 m and 1.5 m deep. It is fitted with a cover to protect children. This terrace has a large table for 8 people under a murier-platane and a barbecue. There is also a smaller table for breakfast, sun loungers, armchairs and a parasol to protect you from the sun.

There is a large terrace of 100 m2 on the same level as the house and pool, with a large table for 10 people in the shade of a mulberry tree and another table for 6 people. Adjoining is a 7 m long, 3 m wide salt-treated swimming pool with chairs, pouffe, armchairs and a large barbecue, parasols. The enclosed courtyard can accommodate 3 cars. The terrace, pool and courtyard are reserved exclusively for travellers.

The large downstairs bedroom serves as a link to the toilet, bathroom and bedroom at the end of the interior passageway from the lower level to the upper level.
Access to the terrace, swimming pool and entrance to the house is via stairs from the courtyard.

The village of Auriol
Auriol, known as Auruou in Provençal, lies between the Garlaban, Sainte-Baume and Regagnas massifs, in the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolitan area, Pays d'Aubagne et de l'Etoile. With the Huveaune valley running through it, the town boasts an exceptional variety of landscapes. Auriol has been awarded the Flowered Towns and Villages label, and its setting, as well as the Huveaune valley, will charm you. It also boasts an interesting architectural heritage that bears witness to the town's age and rich history. There are plenty of activities on offer, including hiking in the Sainte Beaume massif, climbing Mont Saint Pilon and visiting the grotto-basilica of Sainte Marie-Madeleine and the village of Plan d'Aups. Further afield, visit typical Provencal villages such as La Cadière d'Azur, Le Vieux Castelet and Gemenos. On the outskirts of Gemenos, take a stroll in the Parc de St Pons. To get there from Auriol, go over the Col de l'Espigoulier, a magnificent crossing of the Sainte Beaume massif (which can also be done by bike). There are many walks you can do from the pass, and you can take the GRP (regional footpath) that passes through it to get to the Col de Bertagne, following the ridge line. Towards Marseille, take the Gineste road from Cassis to Marseille, where you will pass along the Calanques de Marseille. During the day, you can cross the calanques on foot from the Calanque d'En Vau to the Calanque de Morgiou or Sugiton via the Col du Deveson and Grande Candelle. You'll follow the coastline with its sheer cliffs plunging into the sea. You can also visit Cassis, which is calm at this time of year, with its beaches and port, and you can also follow the coast between Cassis and La Ciotat along the route des crêtes. And then there's Marseille with its thousand facets to visit.....A Auriol from the house, on foot, you can go to the Sainte Croix chapel just above the hillside.
