About this apartment rental
Nestled in the historic town centre of Cassis, a short distance from the beach and port, this 80-m2 apartment enjoys plenty of sunlight, is air conditioned, and boasts a view of the sea and the château. You can do everything on foot, making it an ideal vacation spot! Typical top-storey flat. This flat is the only one on the attic level. It was just remodelled, and comprises a 30-m2 living room a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, plancha grill, fridge, and freezer. There are also 3 or 4 bedrooms: 1 master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and TV, 1 bedroom with twin beds, a bedroom with a bunk bed and no window, and 1 attic room with a low ceiling and sea view. The living room also has a sofa bed. There is a large bathroom with a shower and a bathroom with a shower and washbasin in the master bedroom. There are also 2 separated toilets. Weekly rentals cost €1250-€1470 depending on the season, but shorter stays are also possible. Utilities are included, though a heating surcharge applies from November to April. Bed linen can be rented. Deposit: 30% due on reservation, €1,400 deposit via a hold 15 days before arrival, will be reversed within 7 days if the apartment is left in suitable condition. Pets not allowed. Smokers not welcome. Arrival: 4 p.m. Departure: 10 a.m.

Logement dans Cassis, avec vue sur la mer. Tous commerces à proximité. Appartement spacieux, chambres au calme. Attention, 3e étage avec escalier en colimaçon.
Accueil agréable et personne disponible pour tout renseignement.
Un seul bémol, il manquait quelques produits de base (huile,sel,poivre,vinaigre) et filtre à café. Nous en gardons un bon séjour !

Positive: This is a great place to stay close to the sea and city center, just steps from where the boats to the calanques depart. The check in and check out was great. We got two parking vouchers so we could try and find parking for free (limited resident parking lots). This was not easy even in low season, so we chose to pay regular parking fee for one car close by.
Despite the positives I only gave this place three stars. First off, we were disappointed to find that we had to make our own beds. Also the apartment feels cramped. There is only one spacious master bedroom (with shower cabin). But the other rooms are minimal; the loft is really for older kids only . The bunk bed in one room is big enough for grown ups, but too big for small kids (high climb to top bed). The bedroom with two single beds is very cramped, as are the two toilets (no sink).
The living room is L shaped with a long dining table in between, like in a corridor. The two sofas can be made into 2 x double beds, but that would not be a comfortable fit. The low ceiling made it feel a bit dark and cramped. Opening the windows to the french balcony made it more enjoyable. Lots of steep steps in the apartment, so not good for small kids.
I'd recommend this place to a group of young adults.
