About this cabin rental
Mazot les Tines is a cosy little hideaway straight out of Hansel and Gretel. A small chalet situated between Chamonix and Argentière in the village of Les Tines it is well placed for skiing at both Les Grands Montets and Flégère – Brévent. For summer guests there are many mountain walks from your doorstep. There is free day travel in the valley for our visitors using the bus or little single track mountain train. Both the bus stop and the Les Tines train station are 250m from the Mazot. A favourite place for romantic honeymoons, it is set in a pretty garden with the Mont Blanc range as a backdrop, complete with its own hot tub. The perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. Pretty stunning we reckon.
Inside there is a dreamy little double bedroom upstairs with a door leading to a small balcony and wooden stairs. Below on the ground floor you will find a shower room, a neat little kitchen (with small combi micro-oven, hob, fridge and washing machine) and dining area, all in wood of course, beyond which is a living room with a large picture window (more views!). There are an two extra mattresses on a balcony-mezzanine which are ideal for children (please contact us if you have young children and would like to reserve). All in all it is the perfect getaway for a couple or small family.

The location was really convenient for local public transport routes and the actual property was perfect for a couple, rustic in the best way with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The hot tub, even in the cold, was great and had fantastic views of the mountains and trees. There was plenty linens and robes, slippers and so on. All in all, it was everything I'd wanted out of a setting. The staff were attentive and helpful before during and after booking and Colleen kindly gave us a lift to the bus back to Geneva! They couldn't do more for us and it was a really great experience all round, I could not recommend more.
Very minor but the door latch was stiff and slightly difficult to close. It did not cause any problems but might benefit from a bit of TLC.

It is a quaint little cabin that has all the amenities. Care should be taken with the stairs, as they are steep! But the view from the top floor is amazing and well worth it. Our host Colleen gave us lots of personal care and attention which we really appreciated.

Cosy atmosphere inside chalet and lovely space outside to sit or eat.
Ease of taking train or bus to Chamonix and Argentière.
Some of the chairs need attention, risk of collapse.
