This stylish third-floor apartment, in a charming timber chalet, set in the stunning alpine countryside, makes a perfect holiday base for a family or friends in search of adventure or peace and quiet.
The apartment sleeps 5 people in comfort and has been thoughtfully and beautifully decorated throughout. The décor is contemporary but warm. The main living area has large windows with two glass doors leading out onto the private balcony, with chairs, where guests can relax and enjoy the view of the mountains. The living room has a sofa, coffee tables, wardrobe and flatscreen TV. Close by is the wooden dining table which seats 5 people. The kitchenette tucked away in the corner of the room, is well equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, toaster and fridge/freezer.
Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The zen-like master bedroom has a large window, looking out onto the mountainside, with a double bed and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: A light-filled room with a single bed that converts into either 2 single beds or a double bed.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.
Bathroom
An independent bathroom, with a glass shower, washbasin, washing machine and W.C.

Location
The apartment nestles in the heart of nature, in a very quiet spot, on the edge of the village of Les Houches. For skiing, the Bellevue cable car is a 5-minute drive and the Aiguille du Midi cable car station is 9 minutes away.
The town of Les Houches has much to offer visitors of all ages. Apart from the beautiful, alpine hiking trails, there are many other activities in the area: mountain biking, mountaineering, white water rafting, tennis courts, swimming pools and for even more excitement there is the Addicted Adventure Park (a 5-minute drive). The Mont Blanc Express stops at Taconnaz station (2 minute\'s drive), for free rail service in the Chamonix Valley, so visitors can easily explore the rest of the Chamonix area, all the way up to Mont Blanc.
For self-catering, there are many supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities. The weekly market (Wednesday afternoon) at Le Pain du Chibon (2 minutes) allows visitors to buy directly from producers. The apartment is 1 hour and 10 minutes from Geneva Airport.
