Breakfast was very good; they could improve their options of hot food, but pastries/cakes, cereal and fruit options are very good.
Rooms were spacious, amenities were very good; the water pressure from the shower was exceptional, closet space was good, really appreciated that they brought up an iron and ironboard and left it in the room for the duration of the stay.
The lobby area is very nice, spacious and clean.
Location couldn't be any better. 10 minute walk to Bari Centrale, about 5 minute walk to the Lungomare and a 2 minutes walk to the major shopping area.
Some front of house staff didn't come across as particularly friendly tbh (although this could be their general demeanour), and if you asked them for something it came across as an imposition.
Whilst the water pressure of the shower was fantastic, the size of the cubicle left a lot to be desired, which considering the large size of bathroom made no sense, design is a bit outdated.
£5 euro charge for room service per person per day is a bit ridiculous as well, considering the daily rate of the room, but I suppose you're paying for the location (as it certainly didnt go towards the view).

absolutely very friendly staff offering you all the needed support!
after the airline company ruined our vacation schedule, repeatedly changing the date of the round-trip flights, we had the big chance to find out a very professional and supportive staff at the JR Oriente Hotel, helping us to save as much as possible and enjoy the time.
the accommodation was perfect - room in a very good condition, absolutely clean, very comfortable beds, balcony, great view, very tasty breakfast.
the location is perfect! in the middle of everything!
all you would like to find/visit is just a step away - old town, theatres, modern shopping area, seaside promenade, train station, bus station.
we plan to come back soon!
