Alpenpension Bergidyll

Elena was very friendly and nice. She tried to keep the place clean and organized. It is close to Konigssee about 25 mins by foot. Breakfast was included as we couldn't store or prepare anything but we had some foods needing refridged since the temperature was low, Elena advised us to put food in the patio to keep it cold.

There is no kettle to boil hot water to enjoy a cup of tea in the evening and have a cup of warm water in the morning. The place requires to pay cash only but the information was easily to miss if you did not look into confirmation details under pricing information.

The innkeeper is very friendly and works hard to serve her guests. In the basement they have a bar and game room. Breakfast was very tasty with a good variety to choose from. They have a very sweet dog to greet guests.

The beds were a little firm, but nothing bad.

The host, Elena, was super friendly. The room was very clean. We enjoyed that breakfast was included.

The beds were uncomfortable- old mattresses where we could feel the springs, and loud squeaks with every movement. The walls were thin, so we could hear conversations out on the hall and the room next door. There was no mini fridge or kettle with tea/coffee facilities in the room. If there has been a kettle (or even shared coffee/team making facilities) and a mini fridge in the room it would have made a big improvement on our stay. Please consider updating the mattresses.
