This is our 2nd stay and it the views are as good as we remembered. There is an eagle that comes every morning to sit in the tree top and seagulls dive bombed it until it left. Last year a bigger eagle stayed all day. The house overlooks the bay & ocean and the tide changes bring lots of birds. The path down to the beach is about 5 houses down and a bit steep. Or you can walk along hwy 1 down the hill to town 1/4 mi. or go 1/2 mile south to Gov. Patterson State Park. The house is well equipped and even has a full spice selection although the kitchen is a bit tight for more than one person. The master bedroom on the 2nd floor is open to the living room. We used the bedcover over the railing for a little more privacy. The media room appears to have a chest with a foldaway bed along with a huge sofa but it is open to the twin room on the 3rd floor. The only bedroom with a door that closes is on the 1st floor. The staircase to the 2nd floor is partially open on one side and the steps are higher than standard with the top step even taller. Pay attention coming down on that tall step. We are used to 16 stairs to our 2nd floor and even still my husband slightly twisted his knee coming down on day 1. We plan on going back again next year.

Amazing views, especially the 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms! So fun to watch the seals and bald eagles too. Crystal and Myrna were both great to work with. Kitchen is stocked well too. Beach was beautiful and fun to explore. You can walk along at steps by Jellybeans ice cream (highly recommend) or 10ish houses down from this there is a path ‘at your own risk’ paved mostly with a rope to hold, which we thought most anyone can easily walk down.

This was a delightful home with gorgeous bay and ocean views. Added bonus of fluffy robes to use while sitting in our bedroom watching eagles and seals!Will definitely stay here again- great location to base from for local adventures.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this unique home. The home was clean and the view was beautiful! It is in a quiet neighborhood. If traveling with friends, realize there is only one bedroom(downstairs) that has enclosed walls and a door. The other two "bedrooms" are not fully enclosed and do not have doors. Which causes a lack of privacy. Also, there were no blinds in the two upstaires "bedrooms" . No access to a washer and dryer without calling to be let into the garage. This is a beautiful spot and you can see and hear the Harbor Seals every morning, which is so enjoyable!
