Friendly staff. We had little problem with the sliding door but they soon solved the problem. Great location: so close to La Jolla cove. Easy to go scuba diving and snorkeling. Recommend it~~ Actually it was best among the hotels while me and my friend travel West USA!!

Felt very comfortable during our getaway. All the staff were very nice especially Lance during the night shift. The elevator was a bit scary but otherwise I have no complaint.

We had the most amazing experience staying at Sands of La Jolla, the place is less than 2 miles away from La Jolla Cove and is totally value for money for the location. You can easily uber there or take the bus, the bus stop is literally steps away from the property. Its a great property in an amazing locality, with numerous restaurants and coffee shops at a walkable distance. You walk out of the property and see the beach - its amazing. The cherry on the top was the amazing staff - they were so kind and helpful. Rooms were super spacious, and clean. Loved every bit of our stay there, would definitely recommend.

First time staying here! I love that the beach is just across the street and it is in walking distance to basically everything! The room is cute and clean! We had two late evenings and parking at the hotel was full but street parking was plentiful, safe and easy! Only wish they had in-room coffeemakers!
