On departure, we ask that you take out the trash and begin a load of towels in the laundry, and we require that you not leave any dirty dishes/pots & pans. A fee of up to $200 may be charged for dirty dishes/pots & pans.***

We stayed at the Hilltop Hacienda with our adult daughters and their partners. We used the house as a base for biking, kayaking Morro Bay, pickleball and sightseeing, and it was well-located for all of those activities. The house itself was so comfortable, so well-laid out, so abundantly furnished with great areas for conversation, reading, playing cards, doing puzzles, and talking, that we spent a lot of time just hanging out, especially on the marvelous terrace overlooking the valley below. We had planned to spend a lot of time in the game room on the lower level, but we actually didn't get to that, because there were so many other things to do. The home is beautifully furnished, with plenty of art and accessories, but sparingly enough that the result is restful, not cluttered. The kitchen is well-stocked, and we really appreciated that. We love to cook together. All of our kids loved this house so much - they are already planning our return trip next year!

Our family stayed in Hilltop Hacienda in the week between Christmas and New Year. It was a perfect experience, despite a lot of rain. The house is immaculate, well heated, beautifully furnished, fully equipped. We are French, spoiled cooks, and the kitchen had EVERYTHING (except an Espresso machine, but good coffeeshops nearby). Already booked for next year.
