Firstly, the property owners are lovely - super-helpful and very friendly. We experienced a problem with our car and they went over and above to help us find someone to repair it. Thank you. The area is OK, although there is not much going on within walking distance (there is one restaurant, but was closed for our stay). The local tram stop is a bonus and makes getting down town very straightforward & low cost. The room is in the owner's main home and we stayed during the first significant heatwave of 2026 - the pool was very welcome. We had no hot water for our first night which was quickly rectified the next morning by the owner. The room was incredibly hot and very difficult to sleep - appreciate this cannot be planned for in advance, but some mitigation is needed. There is no access to cold drinking water - and no drinking water left in the room. A second fan might be a useful addition and definitely leave some water. The local supermarket closes quite early and it would be impolite to disturb the hosts late at night. I hope this represents a fair review based on our experience - and I will stress that temperatures were above 32oC/90oF for most of our stay which may be unusual in this location.

Lovely welcome from the owner and really helpful, beautiful fantastic house in a quiet suberb. food and drink places 25 mins away by foot well worth it as the catherdral in Le man old town is spectacular as are the houses up the steps from the fountain We went to the brasserie across the road from the zebra crossing, the food was outstanding! highly recommend.
