Das Personal ist sehr nett, insbesondere der Chef. Ich kenne ihn inzwischen schon ein paar Jahre. Das Restaurant ist absolute Spitzenklasse. Am besten mit der Übernachtung direkt einen Platz im Restaurant reservieren. Es ist immer gut besucht, sehr oft von Menschen aus Umgebung. Ich denke mal, das spricht für sich. Das Hotel liegt ein paar hundert Meter vom Eifelsteig entfernt. Ideal, um sich abends zu erholen.
Das Frühstück ist o.k., aber mehr auch nicht. Es gibt ein frisches Ei (der Stall ist hinter dem Hotel). Aber Rührei, gebratenen Schinken o.ä. ist nicht vorhanden. Außerdem ist das Müsli auf das Minimalste beschränkt.

Sehr gutes Essen im angeschlossenen Restaurant, unbedingt zu empfehlen. Ebenso das Frühstück! Bad okay! Im örtlichen Vergleich relativ günstige Übernachtung. Sichere Abstellmöglichkeit für Bikes!
Außerhalb von Roetgen an einer vielbefahrenen Bundesstraße; Auch nachts sehr laut! Schlafen nur bei geschlossenem Fenster möglich. Rustikale, veraltete Zimmereinrichtung!
