Basic accommodation, that definitely needs a re vamp all round . Beds comfy and a nice view from room looking onto the river .
General cleaning needs more attention , hair in Bath, towels ned replacing ......

Housekeeping left much to be desired. Hotel should include information in its booking site that towels n toiletries would NOT be changed daily although the staff agreed to replace the used towels upon request. The towel rail in the bathroom was broken. The only consolation was the large size of the room and the large public carpark behind the hotel

The Severn isn't particularly good at anything, we just used it as a base and if you aren't looking for somewhere to spend a large amount of time it's good. You can make a hot drink and the bed was comfy and clean.
