Great hotel overall. Nice spa with different types of sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi but reservation is needed. 10-15 mins walk to Grindelwald station but there is free hotel shuttle.

cozy room, nice views and generally well equipped. nice facilities for use like the saunas, jaccuzi and pool/gym. also very nice ambience through the hotel and they also offer shuttle service - staff is also friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed overall for the room assigned right above the hotel entrance at such price- Eiger view luxury room. Requested for a change but was told no more room available. It’s so noise with visitors going in and out chatting just a below us. The breakfast is ordinary except for the chief for my scramble eggs. The room is old and dark, easy to misplace things. The heating rods inside the shower room has its plug positioned 50cm from ground looks hazardous🤨. The shower room has no doors, make sure you don’t shower while your partner is out, anyone passing by your room could see you naked the moment the main door is opened.😝 Lastly don’t stay here if you expect AC… ☀️I’d rather stay at the lobby for the cool air and go back when the sun goes behind the mountains. So ya… you get what I mean for my rating. Almost do an immediate check out but managed to stayed till 9am the next day. Regretted not reading enough reviews before my booking. The only plus point is, I met two friend female staff when I checked in and out.
