Hegarty's Cottage is single storey building within the grounds of Trevarrian Lodge Bed & Breakfast establishment.
Owned by Declan & Jean Hegarty since April 2017. Warm, friendly and approachable couple with our own canine family member - Roxie the Jack Russell cross who welcomes all the guests on a regular basis. Homely atmosphere created in both Hegarty's Cottage and Trevarrian Lodge where a guest lounge offers soft drinks and snacks to purchase and books, games, DVD's to borrow.
Lounge with 2 x 2 seater sofa/bed, wall mounted digital TV/DVD. Pebble & flame effect wall mounted electric heater. Furniture and soft furnishings. Large Kitchen/Diner with table & chairs. Range of fitted base and wall units with built in fridge and larder unit. Built in electric oven & grill, sink unit. Field/sea views from lounge and kitchen windows. 2 Separate double bedrooms - one overlooking fields/sea, the other towards the main house Trevarrian Lodge. Main bedroom has built in wardrobes, top boxes and drawer units. 2nd bedroom 2 door floor-ceiling mirrored wardrobe. Large shower room - sliding door double shower, low level WC and vanity sink unit. Fully tiled walls, laminated floor. Laminated floors throughout. Own enclosed garden with central artificial lawn area, pebbled surround and decked patio area with furniture. BBQ supplied on request. Iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner all provided. Bedding and towels all supplied. Welcome pack on arrival including freshly baked bread and scones with clotted cream and locally made jams. Family and Dog friendly with welcome treats for the dogs. Hot tub in the garden. Laundry service available on request. Cots/highchairs available on request. Free Wifi available.

The cottage was very clean, in an excellent location, near to all the beaches but quiet and peaceful. The hot tub and private garden were lovely and we really enjoyed the relaxation of this. Hosts were lovely and helpful and we could not fault anything at all. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of linen and towels available, The welcome pack was great and much needed after a long drive. Everything there was well thought out and all needs were catered for

The owners were very nice, and the cottage was clean and well-equipped. The only thing that let it down was the bed was too hard, the shower holder and the garden was a bit untidy. If they got these shorted they would get top marks.
