About this house rental
Peacefully located within the grounds of a 500 year old Manor House is 'The Old Piggeries', our Gorgeous 2 bedroom character barn. Comfortably accommodating 4 people, The Old Piggery Barn has a completely renovated and refitted contemporary interior. A wood burning stove and infrared heating panels keep the barn nice and warm throughout the colder months. The open plan lounge/dining area has Karndean flooring, a leather sofa and two armchairs, a Smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar and DVD player. The high gloss cashmere kitchen includes a full size under counter larder fridge, full size freezer and slimline dishwasher, oven and hob. There is also a breakfast bar with 4 leather bar stools. It has one double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both fitted with new carpets. The bathroom has been completely replaced and now has a walk in shower and is tiled throughout. There are a couple of tennis courts free for use within the grounds.
There is also an indoor heated swimming pool which opens from February to the end of October. This is paid for on site for individual use or a pool pass.
This is a really peaceful place to base yourself with many fabulous beaches on your doorstep and an abundance of quality restaurants and gastro-pubs in the local area.

This was a small, practical and well situated house for the four us. We had easy reach of Marazion beach with lovely views of St Michaels Mount. Eating out was easy with a pub at the Manor and another just a short walk across the fields in Gulval. We had excellent recommendations from the property manager for places to eat, explore, and enjoy in the area.

Great place to stay. The Piggery was on a very quiet complex. Well laid out, very clean & good facilities. Had a very relaxing holiday. Location excellent for touring Cornwall, close to Penzance , St Ives & lots of beautiful beaches. Great communication from the owner who provided lots of ideas of things to do, thanks. Would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay. The property was well kept but was a bit small for 4 adults, with the second bedroom being a real squash. The owners provided some super information re places to eat etc
