I stayed here with my parents.It was their 50th anniversary… this is also their feedback; people work in the kitchen, in the dining room, bar and especially waitresses/waiters were amazing!! The best staff ever! They made us feel home and they have been super helpful, positive and very patient! It was wowwww…

I wish this place had an office that I could work also PT in the gym area…plus when I messaged the place I was told that the manager would cancel my booking and I could rebook it in Turkey because my family lives in Turkey and had a Turkish bank account…it was promised but sadly this did not happen and I had to pay extra £340 other than this I was happy with all.

• Friendly staff overall, especially at check-in and room service.
• Room was clean and matched the pictures. The staff pushed two beds together and decorated them with flowers and towel doves for our anniversary — a thoughtful gesture.
• Powerful hairdryer (2000W), same quality I use at home.
• Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection and on-time opening.
• Food overall was fresh and delicious, despite a few minor flaws (see below).
• On the morning of checkout, they did eventually offer 1 hour of free late checkout when asked again — a small gesture that helped.
Why the stay ultimately failed:
1. Dirty dinner plate — unacceptable hygiene
On Day 1, I picked up a plate with sticky food residue underneath (like halawa or peanut butter). Checking the stack revealed several plates had not been cleaned properly. This is a serious hygiene failure in any hotel, let alone one claiming to be luxury.

2. Mishandled complimentary à la carte dinner
We were given a complimentary à la carte dinner — but:
• Informed guest relations in advance.
• Told it was fully booked two days in a row.
• Yet three tables were empty the entire dinner service on both nights (7:30–9:30 PM).
• On the final morning, they said they had given away the last table — and if a cancellation occurred, they’d leave a card in the room. No card was ever left, and again, three tables stayed empty all night.
• Upon checkout, Deniz from guest relations asked why I gave a low score on their internal review. I explained all the above, and he admitted that the à la carte only serves 20 guests per night due to only having two waiters. But on both nights, there weren’t even 20 guests, and three tables remained vacant the entire time. So what really happened?

3. Chaotic, unprofessional sunburn spa treatment
• Quoted 130 GBP for 130 minutes → corrected to 110 minutes with a 15% discount → later offered 150 GBP for both of us.
• Paid upfront before treatment began — not standard for spas.
• Hamam & honey rub lasted 25 mins, followed by confusion from new therapists who didn’t know the program.
• They massaged sunburns with aloe vera that dried quickly, switched to oil, and wiped it off after each section — completely missing the purpose of an after-sun treatment.
• One therapist left mid-session to vomit; the rest of the experience was filled with delays and awkward gaps.
• Noise from upstairs restaurant trolleys ruined the relaxing ambiance.
• Final aloe vera mask applied, then we were told to go wash it off ourselves.
