Looked newly renovated. Bathroom was very clean and nice same as room. Staff were very lovely and helpful. Location was right in the centre. Could leave our bags there free of charge.
No cups in room to drink water but I asked reception for some and they gave some very happily

Comfortable stay at an amazing location. We had a room facing the main street, which had a curtain who covered the incoming lights. The elevator was great as well as Bubbles the cat who welcomed us in the lobby.
Stairs heading the elevator made getting the suitcase upstairs a bit rough

The place isn't anywhere near as bad as some of the recent reviews. Yes it could do with an update and some new beds/bedding but it's not that bad for the price.
I contacted the hotel a day before I visited about the bed bug reviews and they assured me that I had nothing to worry about. I can confirm that they were right. I pulled the sheets, flipped the mattress, looked Inbetween the pillows and everywhere, I couldn't see a sign of them.
It's located in the very centre of Rotterdam, it's a 10 minute walk from the train station and maybe 5 minutes from the nearest tram stop.
I'd stay here again
It was noisey outside overnight, that's what you get whilst staying in a city centre hotel
