I really liked the family who runs Hotel Baan. They offered free coffee and a cold cereal breakfast and a clean room at a reasonable price.
But the place looks a bit rundown and the lobby area is quite cluttered. There is no elevator so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Fortunately they were able to give us a room on the first floor.
They have a special needs son and both parents obviously care for him so there is a loving atmosphere amidst the clutter.
So I felt mixed feelings about Hotel Baan. I actually do think it was a pretty good value for our one night stay.
