True and full oceanfront condo with a lanai (balcony) that almost hangs over the beach. See the ponds below where the turtles and the eels want to come and feed. Let the sounds of the sea make you sleep after a day of sightseeing or relaxation. The bedroom and living room face the sea, where dolphins can be seen all year round and whales in season.

Hale Kona Kai is an intimate, absolute oceanfront complex of 39 one-bedroom condos. Located on the outskirts of Kona City, it is off the main road providing calm, ocean-view relaxation from every module. Located just south of Royal Kona Resort, excellent dining at Huggo's or Don Beachcomber's is a two-minute walk away and some other restaurants are just a pleasant stroll away. The white sand of Honl's Beach is less than a quarter-mile south and the Kona Farmer's Market half a mile north.
The complex offers an elevator that provides convenient access for all. On the ocean side, you'll find a heated saltwater swimming pool and a grill on the south end of the complex. Each floor has coin-operated washers and dryers for your use. Each condo does not have its own washer/dryer.
Each unit includes designated parking, safe WIFI, Central Air Conditioning & cable TV. Both units, like Lanais, are non-smoking and Hale Kona Kai is non-smoking.

Excellent location for walking into Kona town, farmers market, shops and restaurants.Amazing sunsets and surf watching just on the lanai. Everything you need including snorkeling gear and towels. Was perfect!

Excellent location, well-appointed and clean condo. Ample supplies, kitchen appliances, gadgets and extra towels.
Mattress topper is not good. Sheets constantly pulled up, topper travels. Furnishings and decor in bedroom and living room are dated. Shower is open concept and hard to keep water from splashing out onto floor.

Condo has all that is needed for a nice stay. It's walking distance to the pier and village. The view of the bay is awesome. Saw dolphins playing around. All in all, it was a great stay.

The location of the condo is fantastic, right on the shore with waves breaking. The condo itself was clean and the kitchen is very well equipped, bathroom is small but it did the job for me.I had an issue with one of the window covers and it was fixed within minutes, so the response time of the team on site was fantastic. The overall condo and furnishings are rather tired and because of the proximity to the sea, the furniture on the lanai and the windows were salt-crusted and the condo itself felt slightly damp with rust spots in places. However, all that was made up by the fantastic view and location.
