Die Wohnung war mir 10 Tage lang ein Zuhause. Ich bin mit Hund angereist, wir haben meinen Mann besucht, der hier in Bernkastel-Kues zur Reha ist. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr zugewandt und freundlich.
Nichts. Fragen konnten direkt geklärt werden.

De locatie is echt fantastisch met uitzicht op de burgt. Je loopt zo langs de moezel en bent in 10 min midden in het dorp. Wij zijn hier voor de 2e keer geweest gewoon fantastisch

HOST: The host went to extraordinary lengths to make sure we had what we needed and we were thankful. Communication was great via the app as we don’t speak enough German. PROPERTY: Clean, sturdy, all pieces made of quality construction such as shower, patio tiles, etc. One thing that should be added to their description is how AMAZING the window coverings or shutters are. They are electrically controlled and roll down loose and perforated or tight and BLACKOUT for all the windows and even the full sliding glass door. As one of us slept on the couch (firm, supportive), this was great. Maybe they are not mentioned as they are common in the city, but we’d never seen similar before! LOCATION: The best. Very close to Bernkastle without being in it. Very close to grocery store, bakery that opens at 6am, and also 4 EV car charging spots. View from bedroom and patio are excellent.
We liked everything and the host was very helpful with our specifically-requested needs.
If anything we did not mention the the host, TWO house keys provided would be a good idea. I spent 30 minutes or more hoping my wife would come let me in after she left separately and I gave her the key. We are not from Germany and our phones were only working when on wifi even though we paid for international roaming. I was very close to throwing small pebbles against the sliding glass window to signal her. I didn’t want to ring all the door bells just to try any reach her. Hard to translate German words on doorbells when no cell service for translators.
Others who stayed here complained a little of construction noise. Yes, one house maybe 30 meters away is under full renovations, yet they only went back to work the day we left and it wasn’t that loud. One person made it seem like the construction was really really close. We disagree that it was that close.
Two flights of stairs to unit not a problem but maybe not ideal for the handicapped.
