Exceptional location

The people in it

Location was very close (100 m.) to carrefour city and minimarket. Very close to metro station. Good street view. Korean restaurant was downstairs with affordable prices. Keys provided at property. Passcode provided upon booking to enter the building.

The shower cabin could have been a little bigger. It was too small a surface for me.

Cozy laid back hostel close to everything and the people are kind

Proximity to public transport and my work. In Le Marais district. Convenient for walking, dining and exploring cultural sites. Bed was OK. .

No one was there to welcome guests at check-in. No answer to phone calls, text messages and knocking at the door. Thankfully some other guest who already has been staying came and informed that the concierge is somewhere. Upon informing him that new guests are waiting, he finally came down, with an expression of not being amused. He gave one guest, who was not even travelling with me, keys to the room. He then left without giving me keys. When I eventually asked for keys, he was not happy about that, which I found totally unacceptable. The rooms were untidy. There was a clean room, but refused to offer it. Bathroom was filthy, I couldn't even take a shower. My bed was not ready. But he got it ready before losing my patience. Everything took very long. The strong smell of food from the restaurants below was terrible. Thankfully, I was only there for one night.
