Luxurious 1 bed RWY apartment

The view was amazing. The property was beautifully designed, clean & comfortable. Fantastic historical setting. We loved taking the ferry to Mount Edgecumbe. Stunning countryside.

collection/return of key from remote location (you need a car), confusion over pre-booking parking, agents pre-booking links that I could not make work.

Website wasn't very clear when logging in. Collecting the keys involving a 10 minute car journey was a nuisance. We purchased parking for 2 days. No information on where to park in RWY and received ticket for not displaying permit (which I didn't receive) I have appealed.

No outside parking have to park a good distance away but there spaces are no good for having a baby we couldn’t open the doors on the car to get my baby and the seat out so i parked at the end where there was some more space and i ended up getting - a £25 parking ticket as my tyre was a little over the end line baring in mind it wasn't going into another space , when i spoke to the parking attendant the next day he said there was another car park that have more room , i could tell he felt guilt as he could see that in the spaces provided there wasn’t enough room to get my little girl in and out of the car without hitting someone’s car with my door he asked have i not been shown by the company where there is additional spaces which i hasn’t but tbh where he showed me was an old shed that was covered in bird poo broken glass and had no cctv at all , and i was from ideal when you spent £1000 you expect a space close to your apartment designated to yourself and not to be getting parking tickets not to mention having to park somewhere where there’s zero cctv , you share the spaces with people using the place who are not residents and are using the bars , There are no windows in the apartment at all , no air conditioning which for a apartment of this class and the money it cost is surprising , again having no windows isn’t ideal we had to open the big doors to get some cool air in as it gets really hot , biggest disappointment was the lack of customer service when i picked the keys the young girl didn’t even look like she wanted to be there and when i asked her questions about parking and had to ring to check if i was at the correct door for the property as the key didn’t work she was rude and uninterested , i spoke to another land lord whilst i was there and he explained how they meet all their guests at the newhouse and greet them show them around where they can park and any tips on avoiding parking tickets as they can be really strict “ as i found out the hard...
