Stayed for one night recently to break up the journey on a road trip. What a great find! Our first trip to New Zealand and our first accommodation, hope the rest are as well appointed and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Walking distance to a few restaurants/takeaways/bakeries. Owner was very helpful and friendly too. A great start to our trip.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good..
The driveway to carport was very steep and not easy to negotiate.
Plywood walls could be improved with some white paint or wallpaper. Under bed was very dusty.
There wasn’t enough cutlery. The room was pretty cramped but it was fine for one night.
