Nice location set in park like grounds and quiet. Welll appointed unit with comfy bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Had a lovely dinner at the on-site restaurant. Lots of on-site parking.
The shower was small and confined, which made washing difficult.

Bigger than a standard hotel room, it was very comfortable and has a good size window to let in loads of fresh air. The hotel includes a laundry room (paid washing machine) with a free dryer. Friendly staff, there is plenty of parking and easy access to the rooms. Located in the city, its about 5 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket, or 15-20 minutes walk. The Hātea Loop walking trail is about 5-10 minutes walk away.
The decor is a little outdated.

We appreciated the attitude and care of the staff member who serviced our room. The grounds are really spacious and well cared for and the pool looked clean and inviting. Breakfast was quite poor. The first morning it was cold and had not been replenished where the trays were empty. day 2 was much improved though not up to standard. Decor of the hotel is in need of freshening ,having been very well done many years ago but quite shabby now. A handy position for access to the main road and the Basin, which is a great area to visit.
