Superbly appointed and renovated for 2020, this lovely bungalow is ideal as a touring base or for a relaxing break.. All on the Ground Floor:

Set in the countryside 9 miles from Grantham this lovely detached bungalow is a gardener’s dream, with extensive gardens to enjoy also benefits from open fields to the front and rear. Ideal as a touring base with Grantham, Belvoir Castle, Stamford, home of the famous Burghley Horse Trials, and the city of Lincoln, with its cathedral and castle all a comfortable drive away for days out. Travel inland to Rutland Water or to the east, the coastline of Norfolk is about an hour away. For more local days out the National Trust site at Belton, famous for its house and deer park. Cyclists and walkers will love the area with great walks and cycling down the country lanes straight from the door, or spend time in the beautiful gardens and watch the abundance of visiting wildlife and birds. So much to see and do in this undiscovered part of Lincolnshire, there are good country pubs throughout the area for food and drink, local award winning Butchers, Fish Merchants and supermarkets deliver to the door, so simply sit back in the spacious sun room, relax and enjoy the view. A very relaxed holiday. The cottage is lovely and Penny was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend it, especially dog owners as there is a massive private field.

A fantastic cottage. Well equipped and cosy. Penny was friendly and a great host. We took a trail camera and caught video footage af hares and badgers visiting the garden.
Would highly recommend Henry's Retreat - we will be booking again.

Beautiful and well equipped property with uninterrupted views both front and back. Our pooch Alfie thoroughly enjoyed the land at the back that comes with the property. A few good pubs within 7mins driving and nearest shop is similar driving distance. Perfect holiday home if you are after a secluded property with amazing garden. The owner Penny is very welcoming.
