About this house rental
Beautifully renovated, centrally located family bach only five minutes walk from the estuary beach. Now has a large spa and new furniture! Multiple cabins plus a renovated caravan on the property for large groups or two families to have some privacy.
The north facing living area in the main features a high end, well equipped kitchen with a massive awning window the width of the kitchen that opens up to the outdoor area - great for serving food and drinks from. At the other end of the living area, there's a day bed with a matching awning window that opens out to a bar leaner. There are two bedrooms in this house (one a queen and the other a bunk with a double on the bottom), the kitchen, dining and living, a bathroom, and the laundry - further rooms are in the other cabins on the property, more info below.
The living area flows out to a spacious deck with wide bi-folding doors for seamless indoor-outdoor flow - step off the deck into the spa! The deck has electronic louvres to choose the amount of sun you'd like and to protect from any rain, as well as having inbuilt lights and outdoor heaters. There's a a hanging cane cocoon chair, large outdoor table, outdoor furniture, and a BBQ.
Step off the deck onto a massive flat lawn, perfect for lawn games and parking for cars and boats alike.
Further along the property is the standalone 'boat shed', with a queen bed and an ensuite. Along from that is the cabin, which houses two bedrooms (one a queen, the other a bedroom with softer style mattresses with a single bed and a bunk bed), a kitchenette, and a shower and toilet. At the furtherest end of the property is a fully renovated caravan with a queen bed.
It’s about 600 metres to the swimmable estuary, and a five minute drive to the surf beach as well as many other estuary beaches. Central to the shops, cafes, the golf course and the boat ramp.

My friends and I had a beautiful weekend in Mangawhai! The accommodation was great with the 3 separate units, making it more spacious and private for some people. The main house still allowed plenty of room for all of us to get together, had a nice big kitchen and doors opening to the balcony! Everything was clean when we arrived and the owner easy to contact. Would definitely recommend this place! :)
