About this house rental
This spacious home is ideal for a large family to relax on holiday together. The views are absolutely stunning, and the huge open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area is ideal for unwinding.
You can head out for a two minute walk to the estuary for a swim, or play at the park. On rainy days pull out the board games and get cozy around the fire, or head downstairs for some table tennis.
Kids can explore the bush behind the house without mum and dad having to worry.
With a large wrap around deck on the main floor you can enjoy eating al fresco in the summer months or enjoy watching the wild sea from your cosy spot next to the fire during winter. With recently installed Wifi so you can stay connected it really is the perfect getaway spot throughout out the year.
Located only an hour and a quarter north of Auckland City, Magical Mangawhai has plenty of entertainment to offer the holiday maker. The estuary is ideal for smaller kids, while the surf beach is perfect for more confident swimmers. Go fishing or diving, golfing or kayaking. Visit the famous Bennets chocolate factory, the cafes or restaurants and the Saturday market.
Go for a tour around the local vineyards or a show at the infamous Tavern!
There are plenty of things to do and see in Mangawhai!!
* Linen is provided at $30 per person, ($45 for a single person in a double bed) but please bring your own beach towels. Please ensure that you indicate which beds you want to use if you have single adults in double beds.
Special conditions: Please leave the bach tidy, with all rubbish taken out to the road for monday collection, or additional cleaning will be charged. Dishes should be washed, things returned to where you found them.
If renting during a public holiday, rental must be for entire public holiday weekend.
Important - If more people are staying than have been paid for, your stay will be terminated immediately.
Extras: Wifi (Required, $7 per night); Cleaning (Required, NZ$200.00 per stay);

Absolutely loved our stay here. I stayed with family to celebrate my birthday and the house layout was perfect to accommodate three couples and my teenage daughters. Everyone had their own space and it made for a relaxing, seamless weekend. The house itself is stunning with incredible views. Great location and very handy to shops and amenities.Would highly recommend for a getaway in Mangawhai.

Had a great holiday again. With split levels, multiple living spaces, and bathrooms on each level it is perfect. Fantastic views over the boat ramp, across the Bar and Barrier. The pizza oven and wood fired grill allow you to cook old school style. We recommend this lovely home to anyone who is considering it.

Doors didn’t close as door frames were recently painted. Incredibly steep drivewayOther than that this property is an unreal location with breathtaking views. Would recommend this property to others
