Lovely spacious apartment, which was clean and comfortable. Everything that we needed was available, plenty of towels and basics such as washing up liquid and tea towels, which are often forgotten, and a large walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. The situation was perfect for enjoying the old town restaurants and bars, literally on the doorstep. We can definitely recommend staying here....

Unfortunately, there is only one toilet, in the bathroom, which made for some uncomfortable moments for our party of five 65+ yr olds. Also, the apartment is at the top of the building, accessed by lots of stairs, and there's another staircase inside to access the bedrooms. Narrow winding staircases are very common in old French buildings, and were not a problem for us, but this should be borne in mind if anyone has any mobility issues.

So full of character as a property. Lovely touches like complimentary local biscuits. Really comfortable bed and bedding.

Can not honestly find fault.

. The positive is that it is centrally located in the old town and accessible to lovely little bars however that's where the positives end I'm afraid.

I don't like writing negative reviews but for the benefit of other travellers this place is disappointing and I cannot recommend, especially at €113 per night. We arrived to no heating in the room and to what is a damp, cold and shabby room where the towels and bedding felt damp as a result. The room didn't heat up much despite us putting the heating on ourselves. In addition, very small bed wedged into the corner, terrible pillows with no structure to them, unclean areas, old dish sponge left out (despite them providing new one), old tea towel with hole in it,badly maintained areas with taps not attached, wobbly tables and lots of maintenance concerns. Very sad to see such a beautiful old building look like this. Could be lovely but lots more work and care is needed to make this an appropriate place for paying guests. Cannot recommend.
