Staying at L’Aurore de la Baie and meeting Fred and Aurore was a highlight of our 9 days in Normandy! Their location is so convenient to visiting Mont St Michel and it is picturesque with a view of the Mont! In less than 10 minutes we were in the parking lot and on our way up to the abbey. And if you like to bike, they have bikes available to use to get to the abbey. Forget about staying at a characterless hotel, stay here and treat yourself to a warm welcome, spotless and well equipped room, a delicious breakfast with fresh eggs and fresh croissants and bread, (picked up at 5a.m. By Fred!) homemade jam and a delicious assortment of cheeses and meats!
We could not have asked for better accommodations or hosts! Merci!!

The property was very comfortable and super clean! The host could not have been more welcoming and charming. Breakfast was delicious woth local foods. Even the jams were made by the host. it was our favorite stay while in France!

Beyond wonderful: 11/10. Just far enough from Mont Saint Michel (MSM) to give you relief from the crowds and the touristic craziness and close enough with a beautiful view of MSM from our windows (see pictures). We would come back in an instant as this is one of the best BnBs we’ve visited. From the moment you enter Fred makes you feel welcome and at home. A stylish home that was sparkling clean and even smelled clean. We booked the larger suite which separated the bed & living space (both of which had a view of MSM). Fred, the host, takes pride of ownership of his property and providing an exceptional experience. Breakfast was amazing: eggs, cheeses, charcuterie, fresh bread/croissants from the bakery AND homemade jam & treats too. Make sure you try the homemade yogurt. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything was wonderful. The view of Mont Saint Michel at sunrise was absolutely magical and unforgettable. The room was very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was calm and authentic, perfect for experiencing Normandy. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel at home from the first moment. The location is excellent, very peaceful and close to Mont Saint Michel. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay.
Honestly, everything exceeded our expectations. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
